Runaway Bay - the home of the Schweppes ARL Masters Carnival – is just a short drive from Surfers Paradise, north along the Broadwater. The Runaway Bay Junior Leagues Club is an ideal place to host the Masters. In addition to extensive gaming facilities, and a variety of top class bars, lounges and restaurants, there are five football fields available, as well as numerous change rooms and entertainment areas. There is plenty of parking at the site and the Club is close to transport routes as well as major shopping centres. There is also a large amount of different accommodation styles close by. The club is a big football supporter and competes with distinction in the Gold Coast Rugby League at both senior and junior level.
