2008 Event

The fun and games will continue in 2008 when the second Cadbury Schweppes ARL Masters Carnival kicks off at Runaway Bay.

Dates and Event Program

Wednesday 12th March
Team Registration 3.00pm to 5.00pm - Function Room
Managers Meeting 5.00pm to 6.00pm - Juniors Room
Welcome Function, including Prize Draw: 7.00pm - Carnival Marquee (cost included in registration fee)

Thursday 13th March
Day One Games: Start Times - 11:00, 11:45, 12:30, 1:15, 2:00, 2.45, 3:30, 4:15

Entertainment & Prize Draw: From 5:00 pm - Carnival Marquee

Friday 14 March
Day Two Games: Start times - 11:00, 11:45, 12:30, 1:15, 2:00, 2.45, 3:30, 4:15

Entertainment & Prize Draw: From 5:00 pm - Carnival Marquee

Saturday 15th March
Day Three Games: Start times - 11:00, 11:45, 12:30, 1:15, 2:00, 2.45, 3:30, 4:15

Presentation Function: Assemble at 6.30pm - Carnival Marquee

So, get the old boots out of the shed, grab some friends, put together a team, and come and enjoy a wonderful few days on the Gold Coast.

Team Size

The team size has been increased for the 2008 event, as follows:

  • Total number of players 20
  • Total number of officials 3
  • Total team 23

Registration Fee

The Registration Fee for 2008 is $1,450 per team.

This represents a fee of $63 per person, the same as last year.

For teams bringing more than the official team size of twenty three, a fee of $63 will apply for each additional person.

Participants will receive the following as part of the Team Registration Fee:

  • Entry to the Welcome Function, including buffet meal and drink vouchers
  • Player Insurance
  • Five games of football
  • Entry to the Presentation Function (meal and drinks not included)

Payment Details

  • Initial deposit of $350 is due by 31 October 2007
  • Second payment of $750 is due by 31 December 2007
  • Final payment of $350 is due by 15 February 2008
  • Cheques must be marked Not Negotiable and made out to Australian Rugby League

Registration

Team Managers should fax the first page of the Registration Form, with the top section completed, to Peter Bevan on fax no – (07) 5594 1250. This will serve as your official Team Entry. The players’ names can be sent later.
