The date for the next Masters Carnival is:
Wednesday 11th to Saturday 14th of March 2009

The Schweppes ARL Masters Carnival is now recognized as one of the great events on the Australian rugby league calendar.

The first event was held at the Runaway Bay Junior Leagues Club on Queensland’s beautiful Gold Coast in March 2007 - there were nearly 400 participants in attendance and it was an outstanding success.

In March 2008, again at Runaway Bay, the Carnival attracted over 900 participants, proving beyond doubt that there is a strong market for over-35’s rugby league.  This event welcomed its first overseas entry with the inclusion of the Hibiscus Coast Raiders team from Auckland, New Zealand.

The ARL thanks the Runaway Bay Junior Leagues Club, Schweppes, the Queensland Government Regional Development Program, the Gold Coast City Council, KooGa Clothing and XXXX Gold for their support of the ARL Masters.

The ARL has a long term agreement with Runaway Bay and firmly believes this magnificent facility will become the Home of the Masters for many years to come.
